Enter in the name of the explorer you wish to search for (or just the first few characters). Do not use masking characters such as * or ?. Note that explorers with a date listed after their name (their birth and death) have a short biography on their individual page. Those without dates are yet to have their biography loaded.
Please note that if you are searching for an explorer with a special diacritic you will need to place in the special character. I have added file resources below to assist with this. For example, to find Frémont, you will need to use é rather than the normal letter e (if you hold down the Alt key and enter 0233 you will retrieve é). Don't forget you can always use the alphabetic index on the World Explorers page!
